If a person is capable of working after retirement age, I find it appalling that they can't.
It gives them a sense of worth. Why should that be taken away from them after working all their lives?
Not to mention the fact that they may need the money due to lack of 401K or a good retirement package.
I think it's sad!

I think if a person is physically capable and they have the desire to work I say go for it. I worked with a lady that was almost 73 and she worked her butt off while people in their early 20's complained about being tired. Now tell me what is wrong with that picture?

I'll be working at something until I'm in a walker, just because I don't have a lot of savings and my pension + social security won't support me and pay my kids college. I think people should be allowed to work as long as they want or can. Of course, if I start to drool, you can fire me.... :)

I think it depends on the occupation. If the work at say Wal-mart no probs. However if they are a doctor or teacher yes because they directly affect our life and health!
