I'm not quite sure what you mean, but it sure would take an awful lot of courage and integrity to "come out of the closet" so to speak, in THIS day and age and subject yourself to the ridicule and intolerance and downright hatred of ignorant people. I, for one, admire that.

I think we tend to be more particular than straight men when it comes to clothing, furnishings, home ambiance and just in general for that matter. So maybe yes, but that's a bit of a generalization as I am only going off of the people I associate with. I am sure there are sloppy, homebody homos out there that don't take pride in themselves. I just don't know nor would I associate with them.

I think the root of it is that with men, gay or straight, it is always an ego struggle. We always have to "one up" one another. Being that gay men are attracted to men we take the grooming and lifestyle decisions a lot more seriously than a straight man would per se simply because we are trying to "one up" the other guy and wow him with our "toys" (car, apartment, stereos, etc) and really exhibit this ideal lifestyle. The closer one can get oneself the better.

Hope I answered your question. :)

All the same qualities and faults as a straight person. Gay men are not a different species; they are construction workers, doctors, teachers... and every other trade or profession. Some are criminals. Some are downright bad people, some are saints.

The only difference between a straight man and a gay man is who they fall in love with.

A measure of any "humans" quality is their integrity, courage, ability, and worth. And most are worth everything to their mothers.

Gay people, except for their sexuality, are just like Straight people. Get used to that idea, and we'll both be happier.
