Why do you have to do anything? Did you mean "What do I do to help her?" If that is the case, be kind and tell her your worried about her health. And not the impression ones get because you have an over weight friend. Are you sincerely worried about her, or how others will view you hanging with her? Once you've figured that out, then you'll know what to do. I will give you the benefit of the doubt here. Let's say you really care about her and her health. You can walk with her everyday for 30 minutes. Go to weight watchers with her. Or join a gym together. Make sure you tell her how much you care about her and want to help her look and feel better.

What you need to do is help them. You say casually, that you are going to start going for walks everynite, or going to the gym and you would love for them to join you so you have a partner to walk with. If you go out to dinner or anything go healthy maybe they will too, try no apps fpor a while. things like that. Sometimes it might be hard for you bc you reall want something but your trying to help a friend get healthy

Let her model your behavior. Offer to walk with her each day, join the YMCA together or other activities that involve moving your body. Eat healthy when you are around her, but don't tell her what she should and should not eat.

Be supportive, but do not preach about diet and exercise. She knows that already.

If you are concerned for her health, then you should talk to her about it and maybe help her with it by inviting her to play tennis or go jogging at the park or something...it'll show her you care...but if you don't want to come out and say something, suggest doing something that you think might make her a little healthier...maybe go out and do sports or eating at healthier places like Subway...(not McDonald's!).....hope this helps!

Love her and support her. Period. If you're concerned about her health, suggest (inconspicuously) things that you can do together that could be considered exercise-- take a walk in the park or ride bikes together. Swim. There are a million things.

I don't understand what the problem is. She is your friend. So you already accept her. Does she want to lose weight? Is she asking you for help? If not, mind your business. If she wants to lose weight, she'll do it on her own or ask for help.
