My boyfriend and I live together and I always felt very comfortable with him. Yesterday I told him that I have a short dark hair on my right breast. I thought it was funny. He proceeded on telling me that it completely disgusts him when I talk about private things or get comfortable around him. For example, when I burp out loud, or I warn him that I am gassy, and I turn on the fan, becasue I don't want him to be uncomfortable, or when he asks why I am using the upstairs bathroom and I tell him... I am HUMAN. These things happen to me. I know its gross, but its life. And I thought one of the perks in an intimate relationship was you can be yourself around someone else. Did (does) he expect me to "maintain the illusion" throughout our entire lives? Girls fart and poop and burp like everybody else. Do I really have to hide this forever? What should I do? This whole time I thought we had something special because we were honest with each other. I am deeply hurt.

continue being human, just don't announce ur every bowel movement.. and next time he asks y u left the room, or y u used the upstairs bathroom, ask him if he really wants to know. he should get the hint then. u can't not b urself, not in those ways anyway, but u can b a bit more subtle about it. most likely his concern is u'll get SO comfy that u'll do these things when u have company , or while out in public. it may help to reassure him of this. good luck! and remember it's always better to let it out;))

He is an idiot. everyone has needs.it takes a long time to get to the comfortable stage. He sounds like he won't ever get there.Well, not always a long time. sometimes a fart is a good ice breaker. depending how your companion reacts could set the mood for either a fun, understanding relationship, or a very bumpy road. when you need to talk send me a message. i will listen, and I will not condemn or judge you.

Your bf is not yet mature. It is normal for couple who already have long relationship to fart, burp and pee in front of the partner. Some people think that if you do these things in front of them, then you no longer respect him. That's why Princess Diana has her own loo away from that of Prince Charles. Be patient. He will soon realizes his weaknesses

I am like you, very honest with my fiance about things like that. I tend to just use judgement about when to bring it all up and when not to, and how to explain it so as he's not grossed out.
You can be honest without being so frank :) (I've spent my life perfecting the art).

if ya'll are in a real relationship yall should be able to be comfortable with n-e-thing see if he really luvs u and if he truly does yall should be able to share n-e-thing and everything together love honesty trust and comfort also has sumthing to do with a relationship all is important for true love well i hope i helped?
