im gonna meet my boyfriends parents for the first time.what should i wear?

Speaking from experience, it all depends.
Where are you meeting them? If at a restaurant, dress according to the restaurant. If it's expensive, wear a black dress, stockings, heels, and put your hair up with a touch of makeup and jewelry. If casual, wear jeans, a not too tight top, some makeup and your earrings can be bigger, etc. If at his parents' house, wear a mid thigh length skirt, not too short, a not too tight top and a little jewelry and makeup. For perfume, a faint rose scent always works (moms love it!)
It's not so much what you wear though that's important. It's how you act and what you do.
The main thing is to RELAX and not smile or fidget too much. Watch what the mom is doing--- if she's making dinner, go help her, act normal. Unless you're over 25, don't drink even if offered. Don't talk religion, politics, money, or children. Don't talk marriage! Talk about going to college, enjoying work, all that.
Get inside the parents' heads by asking your boyfriend what they enjoy doing and relate to that. Find out their plans for his future and see if it can work for you.
Just remember, they're people first and want the best for their son and if he cares enough to have you meet them--- and you're concerned enough to ask about what to wear--- you're ahead of the game.

You usually can't go wrong with a knee-length skirt and a polo or cute tank top. Wear flats, though, so that way you can run around and help in the kitchen or setting the table and stuff and not be ungainly or risk hurting yourself. Remember, too, that whatever you wear should be something that isn't going to be uncomfortable, because fussing with your clothes might make his parents think you're uncomfortable with them. Just relax and do the cute-casual thing like all women can!

if they r modern wear a long skirt with a top n a matching stole that would look modern trendy n a bit decent also if they are traditional wear a trendy salwar kurta bcause now a days there r a lot of them in market or in designer shops.if u wanna look smart,intelligent n decent wear anything but express ur self 2 them in a descent matter u will automatically look smart

ANYTHING! It's just his parents but if his parents are SASSY AND OVER PROTECTED wear something normal and u know a skirt with a shirt.. but other than that u can wear some blue jean capris and a shirt with some flip-flops and some jewerly...

something conservative, and no a ton of make-up if you wear any at all, I would also guess nothing too tight or see thru, most parents want to see a wholesome-like girl, but just be yourself, if you have a future they will need to know the real you!

I think whatever you normally wear is best, just be yourself and they will get to like you for who you are not someone your not, you dont have to be to dressy to impress them just make sure your not half naked and you will do fine,
