after having my baby(2 now) i have been back on birth control for about a year. in that time i have only missed one pill (because i had my daughter in the hospital ER), which was three months ago. i have never missed a period or had an irregular period (even before the bc pills besides when i got pregnant with my daughter). and i am a little over a week late. last month my period was mostly light and spotting for 3 days. my period is always 5 days with normal to heavy bleeding. my breasts are enlarged and very sore. my nipples are extremely sensitive and darker. i've had a few cravings. i feel tired a lot. i'm not stressed or anything, and i'm not thinking about anything a lot. my stomach is slightly pooching out more than it was a couple months ago with no weight/size change anywhere else. i took 3 pregnancy tests last month around this time, but they were all negative. could i be pregnant anyway? i do have to consider it, and i do feel the way i did early in the 1st one

by the way, this isn't in my head, and my birth control is just fine or this would have happened before when i was on it the first time before my first child. i was on the same pills for 2 years before i got pregnant with my little girl and i never had anything like this happen. i was on bc the first time too, so could it happen twice? i have read that sometimes the bc doesn't stop some women from ovulating. could this be what's happened to me? i'm just confused by all the contradicting info that there is on pregnancy. please don't be rude or mean about my questions. i want serious people to answer.

you are most likely not pregnant

the function of a birth control pill is to make you not ovulate, which makes your body think it is pregnant

my guess is you are on a pill that is stronger than what you need, you should see whoever prescribes the pills to you, have a professional pregnancy test done, and ask for a 'light' pill, a patch, or a shot
i do not recommend implants, removing them is PAINFUL

as quickly as I knew i became pregnant i began out taking assessments. I have been given mild positives on greenback tree assessments and the main inexpensive assessments at Walmart. Then i offered the high priced early predictor assessments and that they got here out unfavourable. yet I knew i became pregnant besides and figured i became already 4 weeks so I made an appointment while i became supposedly 9 weeks. i found out at my first ultrasound at 13 weeks, that I wasn't that a procedures, i became only 10 weeks so i in my view have been given a favorable being pregnant attempt at each week to 2 weeks pregnant. So i'd wait until Monday and take the main inexpensive attempt you will discover. i think of those are greater good then those high priced ones.

I would go see your doctor as soon as you can. I doubt you are pregnant but there may be another cause of these symptoms and it is best to get them checked out.

Unfortunately there is a chance you may have an ectopic pregnancy and if so this is a very serious emergency. I had one that went 13 weeks (baby was partially in tube and partially in uterus-very rare). I don't want to scare you but please get a doctors opinion.

If you are still taking your bc pills I suggest that you go to the dr and let them do a test. Beter safe than sorry!

sometimes your body can give all the symptoms of being pregnant, without being pregnant....but wait another week and take the test again
