Does any one know how good the job market is for screen writers?

Go to bls.gov and look in the occupational outlook handbook section under that specific career. It will tell you if it is a growing field, the employment outlook, salary, specific job duties, etc. If you can't find a position specifically that says "screen writer" it may be listed under another title with similar job duties.
