(Assuming that if the USA "officially" entered WWII in Asia and Europe on December 7, 1941, then 60 years later, our nation "officially" entered WWIII in the Middle East on September 11, 2001.)

Sounds strange to many people... strange but true, Crazy Cloud my brother

USA yes very similar to Roman Empire, historian Cancerman, but modern technology and globalism may speed demise up a bit?

Hey Hot Momma, true Bush is far from perfect, but has had to make TOUGH decisions couldn't sit on his hands after 911? Be careful looking to any fuhrer (leader ) for salvation...

Worthy honest reflection Eric, yes the world concerns us ALL & hopefully politicians will prioritize the issues.

Right on, sister, but pray that folks follow Jesus the Giver not the Anti-messiah, counterfeit-Christ--when the Taker shows...

Laughed with a tear in my eye, Quikzip.

Hmm... dangerously simplistic? Can we file all people into the "correct" categories first?

Make mine cola flavor, please :).

On what basis, Katie? She seems to have more estrogen than some male warmongers have testosterone? A bitter woman (thanks Bill) as Commander-in-Chief? But a good ally on health care & envir.

Honestly, I hope America never enters WWIII, but I'm sure they will, like they always do. It's courageous of us, but sometimes, it ticks me off even though we're helping other countries. Anyway, God will end WWIII. The second coming is closer than we believe.

The fall of the Roman Empire took a few hundred years, the United States is in fact a modern Roman Empire. So we may have a few hundred years. Given the rate of global destruction I'd say the rest of the planet might possibly have the same amount of time too.

I love people always saying " *WHEN* W-3 happens" It's easy to talk from the point of view of the future historian, trying to "name" an "era". It's much harder to discuss how to end all the innocent blood shed in this world that we are ALL a part of and all potentially subject to. Today. Possibly Tomorrow. We are in W-3. But no one expects real solutions right now, we're in the middle of an election year. Just more volleying politics.
