there is this boy who everybody says is gay and at a dance everybody was just fooling around and started changing partners everytime a certain part of the song was played and i ended up with this guy when the song ended and you were supposed to kiss on the lips. it was all just for fun and other guys were kissing guys and so i kissed him. now, a lot of my friends say im gay because i kissed a gay boy on the lips. ive kissed other boys before when we were messin around doing this stuff at other dances but nobody ever said nothing about me being gay when we were doing that. what is the difference other than we all think he is gay. he really is a nice guy and it is easy to be friends with him and he really dont come on to you that much if you dont want him to. why is it gay for me to kiss him and not gay when i kiss the other boys at the dances. i just dont understand.

its not gay. you are either gay or not and if you know you dont like boys, then your not gay. i wouldnt worry about it. i think your friends are just using the word gay as an adjective (which i dont think people should do!). if you think the guy could be your friend, then be his friend. if you were born straight, then it wont effect anything.

It's a form of control. If they can make you feel embarassed for doing something that everyone else was doing at a dance (for fun), then they can manipulate you into doing other things in life.
Ignore them. In fact, you're going to find as you get older that many, not all, of the same ones who were so quick to "condemn" you for "being gay" are the ones who actually are. However, they're afraid of ridicule (like you've gotten so they figure if they toss it out first, they won't have to deal with it on their own.)
Fear is not a nice thing, but, people insist on using it as a weapon. Don't worry about these morons.
Think about it this way. Forty years ago, if you'd done the same thing and had to kiss a girl of another race on the lips, you'd have heard the same sort of crap - and crap is what it is.
Don't let anyone determine who you are, what you do and how you enjoy yourself. If this guy is nice and you want to be friends - be friends.
My best friend in the world is non-gay. Oh, wait a minute. I've hugged him and even kissed him once, in public. Does that make me straight? :-)
See, it's stupid on the face of it, and it's the same the other way too. I guess if you kiss an old lady that makes you an old lady. If you kiss a girl that makes you a girl. If you kiss a Cocker Spaniel, well.. let's NOT even go there!
No, you're not gay just because you kiss someone. What you are is someone who had some fun and now is being ragged on 'cause you've got more guts than the ones doing the raggin'

It sounds like the people calling you gay are being pretty stupid. Some people don't understand sexuality very well. It doesn't matter who is gay and who is not gay, and if you are a straight boy kissing a gay boy, why should it make a difference?! It's no big deal. If you are at school, then I can realise how nasty your peers can be, as I've been there. I didn't kiss a boy, but I knew I was gay and heard lots of people saying negative things about gay people. Just ignore them and do what YOU want to do.

The reason the other guys say this is because the other guy might be gay. Have you talked to the other guy. Maybe he just wants to be friends, If you have kissed other guys at these kind of parties, and no one has said any thing you should just let this roll off of your shoulders. Just because a guy might be gay doesn't mean he can't be your friend. And by the way, why are all of you guys doing these things like kissing at a party anyway. Maybe your other friends are gay, and don't want to let everyone else know. If you truly like this person as a friend you should be his friend whether he is gay or not.

Well, it sounds like you're just the butt of a joke. Laugh it off and sooner or later your friends will find someone else to torture. You just happened to end up with the gay dude at the end of the song....bad luck for you. To me, it does not sound like you are gay.....it just sounds like a bunch of kids messing around and acting silly. As long as you know inside that how you truly feel about the opposite sex and that you like girls, then you I would say no you are not gay. So simmer down (not that there is anything wrong with being gay..... in this particular situation you were in the wrong place at the wrong time).

If your straight, just leave it alone. Who cares. It seems like your still young, and soon enough this will blow over. If your desperate, find a girlfriend. Kiss her in public. Oh, treat her nice, and dont talk behind her back. Being able to keep a girlfriend helps prove your straight.
Or just say its Emo and its fun.

are u sure not every one in ur school is gay because i have been to many dances and we never have such things as guys kissing guys or girls kissing girls..i am not against gay people its just its weird how u said how all the other guys were kissing other guys..

In my day boys just did not kiss other boys,gay or not.I do not get even playing this way,when I was in school it just was not acceptable at ALL!!! So I say quit kissing any boys,or you are going to become very confused,as you already seem to be.
