Yes I agree, I report them all, No foul language from me Nannie! I just get tired of questions about penis size, etc. etc. Just report abuse when you see it. It helps get rid of the wackos! See above! Kirk Handsome is a perfect example of the type of people we don't need on here, I reported him, why don't all of you?

Well, I'd rather hoped that yahoo was doing a good enough job on the 'report' here mode. I used a word the other day that is being used on television just to 'complain' about the use of that word, and a couple of others. One word was bleeped from my content. Unfortunately even if you can censor certain words, you cannot eliminate unsavory comments.
It is a problem when there are so many minors using these formats. Questions and answers that really are a very poor example to set for the youthful mind, when they already have so much to contend with in their lives and in the media. The problem with censoring is that it never ends. The problem with not censoring is there is always some idiot that think her/his antics are amusing.
I guess yahoo is doing the best they can.

Just turn the page - scroll. Today's profanity could be tomorrow's praise. It's no use taking offense of how people say things, figure out what it is they try to say. If that still offends there is the option to report their abuse. To some extent there is a profanity filter at work whenever you see a bunch of ***.

a individual can't exchange into the arbiter of ways plenty or how little profanity is acceptable. What you hit upon ok the subsequent individual will locate offensive and the guy and then will say which you're too conservative and that they could desire to be waiting to pass their profanity. conserving those extremes in strategies, Yahoo attracts the line at 0 tolerance. there is not any way for clientele to override the moderation kit that Yahoo has in place.

I think filters like that might bog down the systems, or slow down the answering. It seems really busy here, to allow filters, i think people should report abusers, this would make people more cautious the next time they think about cursing.
Some of the answers are for points only. People answer people's questions with random letters, or faces. it's ridiculous.

I see your point. Depends on my mood of whether I want to read profanity or not. I sometimes despise it, but most of the time I find some answers very humorous, but I have a very open mind and do not worry about it because I know it will happen anyway.

In some specific areas I suppose it would be necessary to filter because of the wide age range of people who access the site. But for the relationship questions that are out of reach to younger people, filtering should be less strict. It all depends.

If you are a good person, you can be surrounded by people doing the very worst things and it will have no effect on you. If you are a good person who doesn't want to see such things because you cannot filter them out on your own then you shouldn't use the Internet.

This is a free country. We should be able to say what we want. If you don't like reading profanity, maybe you shouldn't be here. Not trying be rude, I respect your post... but it's the internet... it's an open forum.... that's what WE like about it... that people are free to say what's on their mind.

yes, these people have the most vile, disgusting language and there are children on this website. No type of respect. I guess it's not possible in this day and age to just ask decent clean questions. MOral Decay, that's what it boils down to!
