egg first. maybe due to prehistorical chemical reaction of dust n particle...whether transformation....etc that create the egg n shell, just like the rock!!!

I think the chicken came first because if it just hatched out of the egg, then it would be called a chick. It all depends in the way the riddle is written.

In no way do I suggest there were no eggs before there were chickens, but I don't think there could have been a chicken egg before there was a chicken to fertilize it and another chicken to lay it.

If you believe in God, you must know the answer.. Chicken of course, how could a egg be hatched with the chicken!?? God created every parents (including humans) first. I don't think he created eggs first!

the chicken cuz there would be nothing to keep the egg warm and god just decided to make a chicken so it can make the eggs.
