Blasi is a 26 years old soccer player who moved this year from Juventus to Fiorentina in a one year loan deal.
He grew up and played with AS Roma, but he became famous in 2002 when he moved to Perugia (Serie A).
After a great season in Perugia, he moved to Parma and consequently to Juventus.
He was part of the Italian National Team during the 2006 World Cup qualifications, but he was not part of the "azzurri" in the finals.
When he was in Parma (loaned by Juventus), he was involved in a doping scandal (he was suspended three months) and just last month he was one of the player who had to testify about the soccer scandal in Italy.
He is an excellent midfielder and most likely he will be taken again in consideration by the new Italian National Coach (Donadoni) for the qualifications of the European Cup.
