Because some people in this world obviously have no sense of themselves or their goals and they resort to breaking other people down with their lies.

Sometimes people like to go against even something they believe in, it gives them a sense of control over their lives, and other people's lives.
People like to lie to get away with things, that they knew were wrong in the first place, thats where the lie origional generated from.
Take for example, Salem MA. where the witches were burn, everyone was obviously lying about everyone being witches in order to get what they wanted, and to get the attention that they weren't used to.

People snitch because it gives them a sense of control over the person they are snitching on, it also ensures they will not get in trouble for the other persons actions.

Stealing happens because either someone believes they are above the law, and can take anything as long as they are not caught. or because they really cant afford the things they want.
I dont and will never condem a woman stealing milk and bread for her children. But thats my personal belief, who am i to judge anyways? They say some Hobo's and Bums in New york city, make more money than a working man, because if every 10th person who walked by gave even just 5 cents, for every 100,000 people who walked by, they would make 500 dollars a day! and people throw even dollars in there, nevermind just nickels.

People that do these things are are completely unaware. They truly live for the ego and it's treacherous voice rules them. They are sly and deceitful for that one purpose only and they always seek recognition. There purpose hasn't shown itself yet and without a proper kick ego usually consumes them. It's a hard thing to let go of and to put into perspective but it can be done and those that choose to roll with it are just insensitive to their true state of being. It is a conscious choice so I don't feel sorry for anyone that steps over others. Let them be in their miserable state because the only way they'll ever wake up is to experience something that's truly shocking.

"The truth is Everyone lies."

Mostly people lie to themselves. I like to call it mental gymnastics or the ability to take facts and bend them to create ones own reality. some people require more Mental gymnastics than others.

I find that people who are put in groups where they feel uncomfortable will lie to themselves more than if they are among peers.

I think the biggest lie people tell themselves is that they are better than someone else. "the Bigger Man (or Woman)" so to speak. Its hard to confront the reality that someone may Just be better than you at something. So people resort to whatever means available to make themselves better in their own head.

I think its wise on a personal level to moniter your thoughts. . . what are the motives of a statement you may make to someone. why do you think the way you do? what does your upbringing have to do with how you are reacting in a certain situation? Are your motive altruistic? or greedy?

Is wanting the best for one's self unacceptable? no. is going about it in a socially unacceptable way ok? well that depends on your own personal morals.

The other Facet of this is that people Never do things that they personally think is wrong. people will always behave in a manner that is consistent with their personal morals. And since that is different for everyone their are going to be people out there who are in moral oposition to you.

Well that was fun.

They lie, cheat, and steal because they are selfish...if they cared about others before themselves a little more, maybe this world wouldn't be so bad....it makes you think though...can you imagine what it would be like if everyone in the world gave a lot to others (after giving themselves their necessities)....everything would be mutual and no one would be too poor or too rich (yes, I think there's such thing as too rich like when get super greedy even if you're a millionaire).....but oh well...... I guess we all have to settle for what we get.......

Some people lie, cheat, steal, and do other, worse, things; while remaining perfectly consistent and true to themselves. Those are the ones I am most afraid of. They do whatever it takes to put number one on top, and step on everybody else. They think of it as 'evolution in action'.

The road to indecency in life is freshly paved and has flashing neon lights, while the road to decency is a 5 mile climb to a summit in complete cold and darkness. People take the easy road because it tends to simulate temporarily the lasting happiness they'd feel had they been steadfast.

I think it is probably because it comes easy to them. For some ppl it is a compulsiopn the yhonestly can't help it. Then for others they just don't think about it; it sounds weird but they don't realize they are doing it. It's hard to put our selfs in others shoes but i really think we should try more often. How can you judge ppl you don't know...i'm just makeing a point is all. Good luck with whom ever has hurt you.
