We must all be able to "size up" our enemies and plan strategies~which require education. The intelligent are much less likely to be controlled and empowered in our society.

I love the quote. It's true in a lot of ways, but education is actually a spark for rebellion. When people are ignorant of issues, they become content with the state they are in, even if people take away their liberties. If educated, they tend to question tyrannical authorities more often. I wish more people were educated...
