i'd say nothing..coz thats the one thing that we humans are attached to.. regrets! that is.. i always believed that regrets are often the cases of failed and misled decisions in ones life..

and regret is a negative feeling that all of us should muster..and never rely with it to further developments of ones self..

a developed regret transforms us into diffrent persons...it teaches us to hate, revenge and well get back to whatever to whom that wouldve caused us such regret..

regrets tend to deprive us of taking risk and chances and to be able to know the consequences before hand.. acceptance is a must..

we are human..regrets will be there as long as were alive.. but the point is how you recognize defeat without regreting everything that you've done..it supposed to strenghthen us not destroy us..

in a way.. the positive thing you can think of regrets, is thinking it was an unforgettable experience..which intends to help you be stronger..

what doesnt kill you; makes you stronger.
peace.

I deeply regret that I wasn't a stronger person at the age of 17. My mother died that year and I handled it by dulling the pain with heavy drinking and hanging out with the wrong crowd. I should have been home taking care of my younger sisters and brother and focusing on my education. But I was too self-absorbed and stupid. Luckily, I wised up just before my 18th birthday and took that fork in the road to a better life. But I've always wished that I could redo that 17th year.

Note to Somerset above my post: I'm sorry to hear about your divorce. There are better days ahead so hang in there. Sometimes you have to change the life you planned, in order to find the life that was meant to be.

Note to Legacy above Somerset's post: It's NEVER too late to return to school. Quit your job, get a student loan, and go. Get that specialized degree so you can work in physical therapy or radiology (the health care industry is desperate for good workers). You can still do it!

Not going to college & picking the career that I did. I should have gone when I had the chance - but I didn't because I didn't like the school that my parents wanted me to attend. (The one they'd pay for.) It was cheaper and closer to home and I was in a hurry to get out!!! Had I gone, i would have studied Physical Therapy or Radiology. Now I have a suck $*% job that pays about $300 a week and I can't get out of the rat-race!!!!! ((% of my problems are money related and a better paying job sure would help.

Marrying out of need rather than love. The relationship brought me two beautiful children and 20 years later, I'm headed for a divorce. There's not much elso to say, because it hurts.

Dropping out of high school. While I've done fairly well for myself, sticking it out and moving on to college would have made a difference.

Breaking it off with somone for somone that was more popular and attractive... i regret it b/c just b/c somone is more popular does not mean you will get the respect from them that you did from the one you truly loved... and yes it really taught me a big lesson.
