JTM, the media won't cover protests like that--no matter how extensive. It's happened many times before and the media either completely ignores it or minimizes and ridicules it.

bluffmike:
If you're that ignorant, you can't be helped and it's no wonder you support Bush. The war crimes are defying the UN and attacking Iraq (just as Israel is doing to Lebanon) based on lies/faulty evidence that was later admitted to be unsubstantiated, the illegal torture and imprisonment of Iraqi cilvilians en masse and without reason, the use of flesh-melting white phosohrus on civilian populations, the looting and loss bliions of dollars of both Iraqi money and American tax money by the private war contractors and the government, etc. Do I really need to explain this to you?

Learn to read any major newspaper--that is your supporting evidence. Ignorance of what is supposed to be common knowledge does not mean it never happened.

1) I'm with Answer Man.
2) Which "war crimes" are you speaking of? Please elaborate and post sources, if any.
Not that it will do any good, but here goes.
As for defying the UN, it had to be done. Many countries in the UN were in Iraq's pocket. Remember the "food for oil" scandal? Not only that, but our involvement in Iraq is a direct result of the UN's inaction. In other words, all the UN was good for prior to the conflict was taking Iraq's oil, and passing resolutions for Hussein's violation of the peace treaty signed at the end of the Gulf War. This is fact, though not as well-known as it should be.
Second, the torture that took place in locations such as Abu Gharib were NOT sanctioned by President Bush. He should not and cannot be held accountable for what some stupid soldiers do. If that was the case, he should also be rewarded for the valor that many of our soldiers show...but that's not the case, is it? Hypocrisy at its best.
I'll be editing this as soon as I see what else you added. BRB.
Okay, as for the white phosphorous, I don't know anything about that. Would you post sources, please? That will give me the option of doing some research, which is what I prefer.
The "losses" you speak of is not a "war crime." It's simply a matter of what happens sometimes. He should not be held accountable for what other people do. As I said earlier, if that was the case, he should be rewarded for millions of people turning out to vote for the first time in nearly thirty years, despite the fact that they had been threatened by the insurgents. It's not like he ordered certain contracts to fall through. Is this fair, to try to blame these things on him?

When we take over congress and the house we can impeach the damn chimp. How can so many people here be so ignorant? Do they really still think that there's a "liberal media"? I think it's really sad that people can be so blind to the obvious. The people here seem determined to support him no matter how many people he kills, and that is just wrong. I'm hoping that this is a skewed sample, because otherwise, we're doomed.

Elect him to a 3rd term. He'll had all the terrorists gone by then, thus eliminating the opportunity for more "crimes". You'd rather Al Gore be in there "negotiating" a peace?? It's worked pretty well for Israel.......

Yeah, next time, for all americans, why don't we all participate in the elections, esp. the presidential. So by doing that there will be more chances that we will elect the one we really want as a nation. Stop bitchin' about it....He is already there. Impeach? for what?

Educate the people on the true definition of "war crimes". Then people will stop throwing up accusations that have no foundation in reality.

Name one war crime, or shut the hell up, and you better be able to back it up with evidence, not insinuations or allegations. Don't you think if he actually had committed war crimes, he wouldn't be able to hide or get away with it? You are just a Bush bashing hate-monger that likes to spread false accusations and rumors. GET SOME FACTS THAT DIRECTLY IMPLICATE HIM!!
