That stinks. He should not send her anything, however, when you live with some one for years, it is not easy to let go. Obviously he still cares for her.

Your question leaves out a lot of information. or, it's not clear. Try comments to clarify for future responders. Look at your first sentence, which leaves out some important words. "...my was treating him wrong by my mom..." Huh?

It sounds like you are an adult, who is in charge of his father, who is not capable of taking care of his own affairs. True?

And, he wanted to send money to your mom, probably an ex-wife who does nothing for him, but expects him to send her money. Right again?

Why does she think he should send her money? Does he owe her alimony? If so, he may be screwed. The first time I saw a man almost 80 years old still going to work every day, because he had been ordered many years earlier to pay alimony to a helpless and inferior dearie, I was done with modern feminism, I can tell you.

Unless you are for some reason legally responsible for his bills, you should only be sued in his name as his administrator. Try to set up a payment plan, in general hospitals and doctors are better with a payment plan than a bankruptcy. Sounds like, as is often the case on YA you need an attorney.

Sounds like some of this may be legal stuff that will require the help of a lawyer. It's a little hard to understand what the problem is because of the missing words but it sounds like you may be trying to meddle in something that is between your mom and dad or trying to prevent him from doing something that he is legally obligated to do. Watch where you are stepping.

You really can't tell your father what to do with his money. Even if your mother doesn't deserve it, your father is going to do what he wants.
