I hate text messages. I was wondering if it is possible to block this feature from my Cingular LG C1500 phone. My friends keep texting me and it's costing me so much money. They're so annoying.

contact Cingular, they should be able to cancel that feature for you.

Sounds like you need to change cellular carriers..
Cellular One allows you to recieve unlitmited amouts of text messages at no cost...
But, if you're going to send Text Messages, then it's ten cents per message sent.
Or you can pay $1.99 to send 25 messages a month.

It would prob just be better to change your plan to include text messages.
