People do change their political affiliation that is why the all three branches in the government are in hands of the Republicans now.

That does not mean the the media doesn't have an agenda. Many people actually switch their affiliation when they see through all the propaganda the in the news.

I think you are wrong. Many people grow with the same beliefs that their parents hold. Those beliefs lead to political ideas. Those political ideas should determine who you vote for. You are not born Republican or Democrat. Instead you are raised and exposed to it. It is nuture over nature.

I was raised "D" and am now "R" because I've thought about what I want from my government. The Ds are definetly not it.
