One very likely theory is that there is a lot of underwater methane vent that occasionally releases a large amount of methane into the air. This is how they explain the incidents because of the gas
1) ships - large methane release can form giant bubble underwater that, when they surfaces, can create giant tidal waves that engulf ships. They proved it using lab model and also at a beach
2) planes - as methane rises in air (because they are lighter than air), it interferes with the equipments that planes used to sense altitude (i forgot what it was called). In fact, the sensor will give a reading saying that the altitude is going up, even though it's not. it will give the pilot false sense that the plane is going up. So the pilot's natural reaction is to bring the plane down. They also experimentally showed that it is NOT possible for the methane gas to ignite with engine fuel to cause an explosion

The so-called 'Bermuda Triangle' is actually part of a larger configuration, known as the Bermuda Shorts.

this so called Bermuda Triangle has no basis. it's just blown up baloney/balderash. hundreds of planes/ships pass through the area every single day without anything happening to em.
this is mainly a fabrication of certain authors to be able to sell some books.

Frozen methane released from underwater land slides,it bubbles ship won't float, they sink like a rock. Then they say the settling of the debris covers the ships.when released into the air and planes fly through it they ignite the methane,no more plane. That's more believable then aliens having a home base there.

Complete bullshit. The Triangle has no greater occurrence of phenomenon than any other place on earth. Compasses go screwy everywhere.
