Trisha Yearwood (it's country rock) has a great one called I'm Still Alive (essentially saying, I said I'd love you and do all this crap for you until I die, but oh gee, you're gone, and I'm still alive).
Antigone Rising -- Longshot. It's about someone she knows she shouldn't be with but has a hard time turning away, but in the end, does. It's of the Bonnie Raitt "I can't make you love me if you don't" caliber. The latter is probably the best I've ever heard of those songs. If you need to just boo hoo your eyes out over it.
