I'm just looking for some really cool songs to put in my Ipod. Please no country.

Everyone's taste is different.

There are websites that list hit tunes from the 1940's all the way up to 2006. You might start there. If you are unfamiliar with something, you can go over to Amazon or Barnes & Noble and play 30 seconds of the song.

Also my public library has a copy of every significant CD that has come out in the last 20 years. I just go to my library's website and type the name of every hit album or artist and reserve a copy of the CD. When it becomes available, my library calls me.

those are diverse my prominent songs from broadway: highway Q songs- once you've been gay, it sucks to be me, im not wearing undies at modern-day, my lady pal who lives in canada. West section tale(in straightforward words pronounced on broadway)- us of a of u.s. of u.s., Officer Krupke, the Jet song, i imagine fairly, and cool sorry if u dont like em yet im this kind of broadway finatic! lol i also like advance advance pow and love sport ( i comprehend I surely have unusual style in song lol)

im with yah i hates country llol. if u like rock id go with system of a down- all there songs eletronica/rock- daft punk -harder better faster stronger. hip/hop- nelly furtado- promiscous and maneater///

well, anything by Taking Back Sunday or Relient K. in particular, Make Damn Sure, Miami, any of TBS's stuff really, and Relient K, well, all of their stuff is great. their new stuff is altrock/screamo, soo I guess Who I Am Hates Who I've Been!
