,We've been telling you the far-left in America is having a very hard time because most Americans believe they live in a noble country and the far left does not believe that. Now more proof of troubles on the left. There's no question the far left in America is on the verge of collapse. And that's a good thing. Only 10 percent of Americans belong to his category. And it has been marked by a viciousness that is appalling.

Some people only know how to hate. Its a sad but, yet true fact. As you have stated here Just look at the Q and A's. Look to the Middle east all they have ever known in my lifetime is WAR. All one can do is be the BEST person you can be. Maybe just maybe it will one day Mutate and be easily transmitted Human to human.

Understanding is what the world needs now just the conflicting countries. World peace is achievable only if people understand each others instead of trading sarcastic remarks.

People with low self-esteem don't want to understand anyone's opinion but their own. That goes for both sides of the sewer.
Every once in a while a real question comes along. I try to answer them honestly. I hope I've done that with yours.

Don't be discouraged. There are plenty of people who don't hate and also try to understand others. Unfortunately, it seems like the ones who hate try to share it with everybody. Our responsibility is to not let ourselves be pulled into this hatred, continue to keep our minds open to other views and learn to discuss them coherently. This doesn't mean we sell out to others, we just need to try to understand their viewpoints and learn to disagree peacefully. Love of mankind needs to prevail over hatred and then we will have improved relationships with each other.

People don't want to understand others, it seems, they want to voice their opinions.
I love it when someone picks my answer and I have helped, especially when it is a younger person asking a real question. I like to help. But I do realize that there are a lot of insane questions out there.

unfortunately, the same liberals that preach openmindedness and togetherness have important political figureheads who yell, shreik, and criticize anything a republican does, even if it hurts the country as a whole.
look at the behavior of their loudest element in the public eye, Al Gore, Howard Dean, Cynthia McKinney, John Murtha.

Human Nature.
Since the dawn of man wars have been fought.
We can understand each other.
We understand also that there are evil elements in this world that must be crushed.

yeah, i think there definitely is. however that's entirely in one's hands. you see, i think many people like believing that they're always right and that their opinion is always the best out of any group of opinions. understanding is easy but must be learnt and exercised, and we have to learn to put ourselves in another person's shoes in a really.. vast sense of the word, and then you can understand where they're coming from. and then there's the issue of learning to accept that believing something strongly enough, having an idea as your "Right" doesn't mean everyone else is wrong. different opinions being equally valid.
i also think, though, that these days it's hard to discuss something wihout stepping on someone's toes. i mean, it's one thing to start being offensive and shooting out personal comebacks, seeing an argument as a fight, and quite another to defend your opinion with firmness and speak with authority and confidence. i personally love arguing, and my style is one that my friends call 'combative' where i actually challenge people to explain to me and give me evidence of why they believe what they believe. and to prove to me that they believe it strongly enough. and some people see *That* as offensive, and don't like to be at all challenged in their opinions. it's not out to hurt anyone, though, it's just a matter of being firm enough in who you are. and most people aren't, so now everything must be Polittically Correct, otherwise everyone gangs up on you saying you're a psycho of some kind. but anyway.
so yeah, i think there is the possibility, but there definitely should be a balance of things. explaining, understanding, without losing the strength with which you believe in something. giving room for others' opinion, but others who are just as convinced of their beliefs. anyone who isn't, should make up his mind firmly, don't you think?
