it's not affecting videos but music, not downloading just even trying to listen to internet radio or media player, whatever, sometimes I have no problem sometimes every other song is buffering. It is very frustrating and want to know how to stop it.

You can't stop buffering without stopping the media player retrieving the music or video stream information from the Internet.

Buffering is akin to the PC system saying to it's user "Hold up a sec....I'm gathering the stuff and getting it ready to play".

When it reaches 100%, then your media player is a go for launch. For dial up or slower speed Net surfers, buffering can get interrupted or worse...the information doesn't go in your PC fast as you'd like.....and you get that annoying audio pause or choppy video picture.

To that, I suggest such users go DSL: it's worth the extra cost.

Its a slang term for loading. Something is loading. Mostly videos buffer.
