Rabbits shed all the time, but they go through major coat changes twice a year. Mine is in one right now, and she has lost huge clumps in several spots on her body.

As long as there's new coat growing in on your bunn, don't worry about it. If there's hair loss and dry, scaly patches of skin with some scabs, your bunn might have mites and will need to see a vet for treatment.

I have a dwarf rabbit and she's constantly shedding. Everytime i brush her or pet her there will be hair coming off. There's also lots of hair on my clothes when i hug her. But she has lots of hair so it's not like she has a bald spot or anything. i would say she sheds more in the summer, perhaps because it's hotter? But like i said she sheds all the time so i'm used to it.

I'm not sure either.. I have a Dutch rabbit and he is in the stage of shedding.. It might take the whole summer for him to shed oof his discolor fur.
