Then shouldn't we call other rapists "woman lovers" or "man lovers"? Don't the powers-that-be know rape from love? It's not like the intelligentsia didn't know the English translation of that Greek word. I mean why call it "love" just because it happens to a child?

Because these sick b@st@rds don't believe they are harming the children, they "love" them. Just kill them for the first offense, then no more worries. we can love them to death;-)

Pedophilia (pre-pubescent) and paraphilia (young teen) is a mental illness where the person is physically attracted to minors. They literally are in love with them. That's why they are called that.
While what they do is the equivalent to rape, it is not considered such since sometimes after having been groomed for so long the children participate in it. But it cannot be consensual because of their age.

Rapists are not in love with their victims, rape is a power kick, not a sex kick. There is nothing wrong with loving men or women, it is the violence involved that makes it rape.

No one dealing with child molest cares that the definition means "love". That is why pedophile has a negative connotation. But most child molesters are attracted "love" their victims, they are wired wrong, cannot be cured and need to be locked up for as long as they can be regardless of what they are called.

Technically pedophile means an adult who is sexually attracted to a child or children, no child lover. where did you get "child-lovers from anyway? far from intelligentsia or elite intellectual. It is a shame that such human exists as rapists and pedophiles.

I think to differentiate from raping/molesting someone of age. I think it is to make it a different crime, because on top of doing something to someone against their will, the child is not of age. (Or because, since the child is not of age it's considered to be against their will---even if they don't know to say know. Some children don't know it's wrong. Especially if it's an adult that they've been taught to not argue with).

It's only my opinion, I'm not an expert.

Dressing up the boy as a princess gained't make him gay, or a serial killer, or depressed as he receives older. He ought to correctly be embarrassed with suggestions from it yet who wouldn't have any embarrassment from their kids? If this develop into any incorrect way round and a lady wanted to gown up in as a prince no one ought to assert something. Is dressing up as a princess his concept or yours? It appears like that is yours. My suggestion ought to easily ask him what he needs or take him down the gown isle and enable him %. a "boy" gown.

Pedophilia is a crime in itself because loving a child is incestuous and immoral due to their tender age. Unlike in loving a man or woman, there is no crime committed except when violence is used just like in rape..

The suffix "phile" is technically tied to an abnormal love or fetish for the subject ... think, necrophile, homophilia, etc. and the "pedo" represents "young" or "child".
