I have a greek tortoise, she has a nice formed bm every day, urinates normaly, but I have not seen her passing urates in about 2 weeks, is it normal or she should pass it more frequently?

she is very active, runs for food to me, drinks water, light and heat are fine, she has a variety food to choose, but she only picks out the dandelion, as a suplement she has all the mineral and vitamins, plus I sprinkle the TTN or TNT (i do not have the correct espeling at the moment)
thanks

It is a dietary/water issue, and we often see seasonal variation for many reasons.

As long as the turtle is healthy and both drinking and urinating OK, don't worry about it!

My African spur thighed tortoise is never that regular and does great if she doesn't act upset don't worry. You could possibly leave out the dandelion a day or two at a time to get her to eat some other leaf lettuces or try fruits. My goes for red the most tomato strawberry cantaloupe strong smells help too. Good luck

Soak her in luke warm water every day. She should have a water bowl they she can get her whole body in to. Mine go every day in their water bowl, I have to change it 2 times a day. Water also keeps their shell in good shape. Remember to use reptisafe in the water, water from the tap contains chlorine. That can be ruff on their system. Greek Tortoises also like things to hide under, my mother knits little "pot holders" to hide under. They love it.
