Who are you....Really?

Everyday, people ask, what do you do (referring to a profession), or what you like to do, but no one asks what have you lied about, when have you decieved a friend/family member, or when you felt so low?

Basic politeness would keep people from asking those questions. those are subjects for therapy or confessionals!

We live our conversational days on a fairly shallow level, partly because we don't have time to delve into questions beyond "how was your day?" and partly because we wouldn't want to know the answers to darker questions anyway.
Truth or dare is a kids game that dies out at an early age. Once we start our skeletons in the closet collection, mumms the word.

Might I suggest a Children's book on this subject. Its called "The little Prince" (it was originally written in french and then translated into English but if you speak french the original meanings may be closer)

Your question kind of asks "how do you quantify a person?" what is someones intrinsic worth? Can someones Value of a person be defined by numerical values such as how much do you make in a year or what is you profession? or are questions such as what is your favorite color or what makes you happy closer to the point?

Obviously people want to put their best foot forward so they are not going to tell you their bad points when you first meet then. (unless of course they don't want to get to know you and then they may tell you that they are no good and that you should go away right now. as of yet I have never had that happen.)

Those are pretty deep questions for someone you just met.
Maybe they want to get to know the person a little better before they ask him who he has lied about.
What kind of a person are you anyway? See that can be a loaded question that maybe he doesn't want to answer.
But what do you do for a living. "Shoe salesman"
that's not quite so rough.

I am a mannequin, or a sketching form, with an infinite number of happy interchangeable outfits and masks. You can even pick my hair, eye and skin colour, or pick a suitable background to place me against!

If ever you hear me say "I LIKE KATHY LEE GIFFORD" It was only to keep my job who endorsed her..... I felt the lowest when she pulled me apart on National tv without apologising. The same goes for Tony Orlando whos website took away a song that he wrote for me by mislabling records etc..to be the blunt end of allot name calling of those in media and peers..(But many thanks to Mr.Henson, David Edwards and the Look, Hayles Commets, and Mr. Leno who I drive up the wall by now with my dysfunctional letters! Lmao (To bad noone can have a 1 on one with me and they run as fast!

Well it's kind of a crappy way to start a conversation.
But seriously, everyone has things that they aren't proud of. We hide them from others because we understand that they have their own problems and really don't want anything else to deal with at the moment.

I am person with many flaws. I just keep trying everyday to hurdled over those flaws and try to achieve the best I can. I may not be special to everyone, but I try to stay special to myself and those that accept me for me.
