I have to breath take your time and close your eyes and count 10 counts in and 10 counts out. Listen to soothing music while doing so. I know this sounds off the wall but put an ice pack on your neck or head it confuses your brain and makes your sub-conscience focus on that instead of your panic.

OK, as someone who is fresh off medication for anxiety and panic disorders, let me take a crack at this: A fair few of the symptoms could be either, but all of them could be panic attacks. However, here are a few things which could help you determine which: Do these start after you've been thinking about your health, and wondering if you are OK. Panic attacks normally start with a thought, and build up based on it. Are you mentally confused at all during them? When I had panic attacks, I was never able to sit still. I would try to calm down and breath normally, but the slightest thing would set me off and I'd have to move. Does the shaking happen usually after things start to calm down. Your body produces a huge amount of adrenaline during a panic attack, and coming down off that causes shaking for people who have had panic attacks. If you really try had, and breath slowly and normally, and try to clear your mind, does this help it go away? Does the headache come after as well? I often got them from the physical exertion, which is usually quite extreme during a panic attack. I hope this helps...

Try meditation on a regular basis to keep yourself collected and calm. You can also use these same meditation techniques when you feel a panic attack coming on.
Something really great for anxiety, as crazy as it sounds, is having a "safe place" that you mentally go to. Just try to think of the place where you've felt the safest, most comfortable and loved. Try to mentally go to that place and regulating your breathing with a paper bag when you feel a panic attack coming on. This worked for me, I hope it helps you.

Read some soothing passages in the Bible and have a heart-to-heart with God... That's always best...! Remember, the source of anxiety is you trying to be in control...
Try something that soothes your soul... Like maybe a hot bath w/bath oils and a glass of wine w/soft music on in the background... Candles would add a nice touch, too...
Also, call a friend or two and share your anxiety... Sometimes, just getting something off your chest can do you a world of good...

one thing is to breathe into a small paper bag, that helps get some co2 back into your system which will help balance your breathing. also i really suggest taking up yoga, the breathing and slow exercises give you a point to concentrate on which will take your mind off the panic. join a group, get a video and get some yoga meditation music to help keep you calm. use calming colors in your environment as well.

Hmm, try to relax. I know it won't work lol. Drink a glass of cold water, that's distracting. Or play video games. Call someone and talk about the usual stuff. And make sure you get enough exercise cause that really helps in the long run.
Otherwise see a doctor.
Good luck :-)

You have to do something to take your mind off it, watch a movie, play a video game, read a book, listen to music, anything that interests you a great deal. If you can, call up a friend or a family member, if they can't come visit you, you can at least talk to someone familar, and you'll probably forget all about your anxiety that way to.

sounds like your meds need to be changed, keep things as peaceful as possible keep soothing music or nature sounds close by you can turn on . Deep breathing exercises call a friend. Really though if your meds aren't working you need to let your dr know

I sit down, take deep breaths, and read the Bible. If that isn't your thing, find your thing.. listening to calming music.. sitting outside and letting the breeze blow across your face.. taking a nice hot bath with nice scented candles. I am sorry you feel like this and I completely understand! Good luck, I hope you can find something that works best for you.
