Barrow, Alaska. It was the first week of April and the temp. was -20 with a -58 wind chill. At midnight it was still too light to see the northern lights. The Arctic Ocean was frozen. The dish antennas were pointed at the southern horizon. I never saw a windshield that was not broken. That place is amazing.

Punalu'u Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii. The weather was glorious, the beach is made of black glass grains and is toasty warm, and the seaturtles graze on the rocks in the surf and bask on the beach. Just an amazing place. To top it off, we got mooned by about six young men as we left. Another amazing sight!

I've not travelled extensively, but I keep returning to the Grand Canyon because it is so amazing.

I think that it is awesome, in the truest sense of the world.

Just standing on the rim and seeing the vastness of its creation makes me realize how significant and yet how small each of us really is.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands. This is going to sound silly, but there's this beach there on the north shore that is so perfect that it's actually hard to believe. Also, the super-altitude makes the roads completely crazy. That place is great :)

Rushbrooke, England. Can't say exactly what it was, just weird. An old manor house, and a small development of new houses that all looked like part of some kind of complex.

Nice, France, it was so beautiful the scenery. Just breathtaking. I did enjoy Paris as well but it was such a filthy city. The worst I've ever seen.

Niagara Falla. I used to live near there and I probably have been there at least 20 times.
They are amazing.

Amsterdam and/or Israel. Israel for obvious reasons. I loved Amsterdam because it's sooooo different from the US...and they're more open minded about things and I loved the scenery.
