Try not to be jealous.. If its slimmer you want.. then you can make that happen if you put your mind to it. Its common for siblings to be jealous of each other. Remember.. your mom has 2 children.. you and your brother. I understand how you are upset over your mom spoiling him. I am sure you were spoiled also.. right?? I use to be extremely jealous that I would almost make myself sick with the emotion. I grew out of it and you will too. Dont sweat the small stuff.

It seems to be that you are insecure with what lies within yourself. Instead of being green with envy everytime you see that slim girl, try saying something nice about yourself. If you say it enough, you'll believe it. Don't let jealousy become a habit....it's not an attractive one. As far as your brother....I'm sure there was a time when you were his age and your mother doted on you too. It's his turn now. If it hurts your feelings to see this, tell your mom how you feel.

don't worry most girls r like that when they c a girl thats slimer or what they consider 2 be "prettier" then them! Try 2 pick out some positive things about urself and focus on that whever something makes u jealous, i gaurantee u someone is looking @ u and wishing they were as thin as u r or whatever! I sometimes feel the same way about my sister....like my parents somehow treat her better...but really its probably not true, but it definitly feels that way alot!
Goodluck!

You do this because you have some self-esteem issues. When you're not happy with yourself, you seek happiness from others, either through their actions and/or through their shortcomings (for example, seeing a girl your age who is heavier than you makes you feel better about yourself). Seeking this kind of reinforcement results in you being disappointed with yourself and others. I think you should talk to your Mom about how you feel, and get a little counseling.

jealousy is usually a form of insecurity, the only way to get rid of it is when you have those thoughts is to, take a deep breath and let it out slow and smile, because there is so many things in this world you should be thankful for including having a mom, and your brother being healthy, and as far as girls being slimmer than you remember this: you are not them and you never will be, you are you, keep your head up!

It's normal for girls to be catty about one another, particularly if a girl sees someone is pretty. It's petty and doesn't reflect well on women, but it's very common.

Worry about yourself. Worry about you and not everyone else. Do not compare yourself to others. Learn to love yourself and appreciate yourself without being cocky or arrogant.
