You should go - I am of a much different belief than the rest of my family but choose to attend all religious and traditional functions as a spectator just because I do not want to make waves and It will mean alot to them for you to be there because beliefs aside you are family - going there and supporting your sister does not mean you are supporting or embracing her beliefs - you will feel bad if you do not go and it may create a rift in your relationship - Go.

Don't go. Since you disagree with the doctrine, it would be hypocritical of you to attend.
However, if there is a little get together later, go to it to show your sister that you love her and that you won't allow her new religion to come between you.

I wouldn't go. Just tell her ahead of time that you are not going because it makes you uncomfortable. (tell her gently)
My whole family is involved in a religion that I left years ago. I've tried attending their special events in church (baptisms, blessings, etc.) but I hate it. I don't go to those things anymore. They understand.

Unless it's a church that doesn't believe in the saving grace of Jesus, I'd go. If she believes Jesus is the son of God, baptism is a way of confirming that belief.

If she wants you to be there, you should go. You don't have to "participate", just be there.
Stand there and smile. The ceremony won't be as long as the lives that you share with your family.

It is not for you to live her life and to try to ruin this for her is mean sprited. She is not forcing you to join her church. We all have the right to worship as we please. So suck it up smile and support you sister.
