I do it after the 24 hour period and sometimes after two days depending on my question!!
I have noticed at least with my questions that after the first hour i no longer get any responses!!
I also hate to put a question to a vote, i have only done it twice, I figure if I post the question than I should choose best answer!!
After all I was the one looking for different view points.

I do in about 4-5 days

I normally do it within 28 hours. I really don't get answers after that anyway. The average is probably 2--3 days.

Depends, but I usually wait until its about to expire and then I put it to vote.
I ask WAY too many questions!!
