Liriano. People are hitting under .200 against him and he has put Minn in the wild card race.
Papelbon is also having an incredible year.

Liriano. He is 12-2 and he also just had 12 Ks tonight to keep his streak of dominance going. He is one of the biggest rookie pitchers since all of the Fernandomania of the early 80s.

Papelbon. Only Gagne and Eckersley have ever had the season that Papelbon is having as a closer.

Papelbon, he became one of the best closers in baseball (best in my opinion) as a rookie, I hope he wins Rookie of the Year or Cy Young or both!

I would say Liriano, but lets not foget about rookie Jon Lester. Undefeated, ERA under 2.50.
