Because we need to explore our world, meet a nice girl/guy, have kids, watch them grow up, sadly watch all the wars that take place due to politics, and religion, explore space, so that we can one day leave our planet earth behind, as the sun is going to die in 2 billion years time, but ny that time we will be cloud dust somewhere!
but the most important question you have to ask is are we put on this earth as a experiment by aliens who are watching over us? that is the theory that scientists have come up with!

several answers i spose depending on who u r.
God put us here
There is not reason why we are here. we just are.
so we might as welll enjoy life and do something worthwhile with it!!
Whatever the reason., we will never really know why we are here!

Why do you waste valuable time thinking that's important? If you simply accept that you ARE then you can get on with making the most of it.No-one knows the answer to that - and I hope they never claim to,Get on with actually living - rather than pondering WHY you are.PS- if you ever meet anyone who says they can answer that......RUN!!!

because in spirit we chose who our parents would be, so we can learn the lessons in this lifetime, and hopefully if we achive enlightenment on this side, when we pass into spirit again, we will have an even better future life, bless you.
