Seriously, how can Hollywood have the nerve and the insensitivity to glamourize the deaths of thousands of Americans? I saw the preview on TV today, and I honestly want to throw up. They are turning this movie into some lame, romance movie with my previously favorite Coldplay song in the background. Every single person who would conceivably go to this film was alive when the attacks actually occured. I cannot see many 5 year olds going to this film and semi-appreciating its meaning. I mean, make this film in 75 years, but not yet. Anyone who goes to this film, or had any part in it is un-American as far as I'm concerned, and is a complete disgrace to our country. I don't think any profoundly thinking people in our country have forgotten what occured, and I shuddered when I heard the guy on TV say "World Trade Center.." all obnoxiously and faux-dramatically at the end of the preview. I hope this film absolutley and completley fails in the box office-- showing America's real stength.

People are always looking for a way to make money off of tragedies. I didn't think Flight 93 was appropriate even though it was supposed to be factual. They think people will see these type of movies because it's somehow "patriotic" to see them. It's exploitation at the expense of the families who lost loved ones. I agree maybe in 75 years, it would be fine....just like "Titanic." I won't be seeing it.

So, if you were alive during WWII you would have objected to all the war movies that were being made about what the Japanese did? You would have thrown a fit over the loose lips posters?

There is a segment in this country that needs to be reminded that we are at war with an enemy that declared war on us in the seventies and the only way to stop it is to totally defeat them.

Personally, I don't think I'm going to go. After Flight 93 I wanted to kill somebody, not something I really relish, but then I've never forgotten about the monsters that have attacked us continually since the Iranians taking over our embassy during Carter's failed Presidency.

You know i'm from UK and i watched the film flight 93. I just thought i owed it to the people who had lost their life, and i believe that people need to know WHY our soldier's are fighting for OUR freedom, my sis though had totally the opposite attitude towards it, and said she thought it was wrong..as it was only a short time ago that 9/11 happened.
I do believe people should know and feel what happened on that day and should be reminded why we are in the middle east
I do feel though that Hollywood should at least give some money's to the familys that lost loved one's.
The same as the holocaust, i think people should feel the terrible events, so i do think the film is a good thing for the right reasons.

I hear and feel your issues. However, I think there's an audience for this movie, and it's not all negative. Sometimes people want to 'feel' in order to understand better. It is our history after all....and there ARE children growing up in the past several years who will finally understand things....especially teens who were then too small. I do appreciate your sensitivity though. I may or may not go see the movie.

Well, then you must be disgusted by the series about the war in Iraq, or the movie about that war. Or even most of the 80's movies about vietnam that were released.

Seriously, there is nothing wrong about making a movie about the *HEROES* of 9-11 who saved some survivors.

well i do agree somewhat..... i think it is alittle soon and i also think that they should give a large chunk of the money to those who lost loved ones during this very sad time or something like that something to help them out and i think that they should wait atleast another 5 to 10 years but who am i and we all knew that it was going to happen sooner or later and this probably wont be the last film about 9/11 but really what can we do so if you don't agree then don't go and support it but i would like to see it so i will be going.....Thanks

I think it is too close to the event to be making a drama out of what was a horrific tragedy. If Wallyhood wanted to make a movie about it, they should have made a documentary. I think the idea of making a drama about it is disrespectful to the families of the many good people who we lost.

I think the wound needs to be picked open occasionally so we don't get complacent.

I DO feel it's in incredibly poor taste for the families of the survivors. It would be wonderful if the procedes went to them if the film is successful

I think it's terrible for Hollywood to capitalize on 9/11, though honestly I saw it coming. Still, I'm highly disappointed in their lack of tact.
