How many of you British Citizens are ashamed of your Government and what Blair is doing in Iran, Afghanistan and their backing of Israel to murder innocents and how much blood do you think Blair has on his hands.

i was no fan of saddam hussein. if a non-catastrophic way could have been found of returning iraq to something approaching order i could have been enthusiastic about that.
i thought gulf war part deux would be a débacle, and i said so at the time. on the other hand it is difficult to make the right choice when you are in a situation where every course of action is wrong.
i'm not proud of british troops being in baghdad, certainly; but an honest man can make an honest mistake.

as an Irish citizen look at your history Blair is the last of a line that streaches back 900 years but times are changing now thank goodness there is no such thing as the British Empire. Britania does,nt rule the waves anymore Britian is a has been and will carry out the wishes of the United States come what may

I'm not a british citizen, i'm an irishman and proud of it by the way. If you look back at your history this is nothing new to you guys. I'm not picking on you guys as a whole because there were others, but throughout history the english always murdered others for their land, conquered other countries and put those countries citizens into slavery. So what your Blair is doing is nothing to you guys. You guys did that to us Irish and to the Americans back in the day, I'm talking about the Indians when you guys landed here on your mayflower. So killing innocent lives is a part of your history.

Im not ashamed of them being proactive in their fight against terrorism, as long as they genuinely thought that was what they were doing. It may have been revealed that it isnt what htey are doing, but if their decision was made Bona Fide, im not ashamed of that. I'm more ashamed of their inability to govern, and the fact that all the sleaze allegations are actually proving to be true. Im ashamed that Blair can't make up his own mind about things and follows Bush without question. I'm ashamed that he is turning our great kingdom, into the 53rd state of America.

I am very ashamed of Blair but his behaviour is typical of recent British Prime Ministers. Something seems to happen when they get the job; they start to follow the US line.

Yes i am ashamed, but nobody is perfect. Yes, Mr Blair does have blood on his hands. Infact he is covered in blood, but show me any leader of any Country who hasn't got bloody hands!
