Multiverse theories arise from the conundrum of what caused the initial conditions of the Big Bang in the first place. Obviously it happened once, and our universe blossomed into being, so why can't it happen again, somewhere, somehwen else? The theory is problematic though due to the question of where do you draw the line? Some theories have it that an infinite number of universes are created every time something happens. No, I don't' really think there's more than one universe. One at a time, that is.

I would have to say there is at least one other universe, the opposite of this one. Why?
Think about it. Everything in this universe is negative or positive, male female, light dark. hot cold, on off, etc., etc. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The binary based mathematics that runs our computers. The list is endless.
Given that all is dual in nature, it seems to me that an opposite universe must exist, as a counterpart to this one.

No there is one. The universe is none ending. It goes on and on which means there is no beginning and no end to it. It has been proved that there are more than one Galaxy. Now there are such things as worm holes and such out in space. But it would probably not lead to another Universe.

Nope, The univerise is all that is. If it exists then it is in the universe.
There might be many dimentions, even some that are slightly parallel, but those dimentions are in the one universe.

If there were more than one universe, then our definition of 'universe' would be incorrect.
