if your computer is password protected when booting, then you have to use the same password to unlock it.
I lock my computer when I leave for the day or a few minutes.

Depends on how it's locked.
Easiest way is to just unplug it. When it boots back up, it probably won't be locked anymore.

If it's software, you have to re-install it. If it's hardware, literally break the lock with lock-cutters.
