Ignorants & the ideal of forcing such stubborness upon other people is what brings us down. Seperates us from our goal of slef improvement of humanity as a whole. It is a it is a flaw of human nature that we can over come, if we pulled together.
Do not confuse what i say of ingnorants with disagreement. For we all have the right to disagree. It can be on such large topics as politics &/or religion, or as miniscule as favorite colors. But when one side of the arguement stops listening to reason, & worse yet, begins to attempt to force thier views upon the opposite party is when it becomes ignorants.
So i come here to ask "how can we (you, me & anyone else out there) end ignorants. For i believe that if we can absolve that, then many other barriers that we face would fall easyer.

Good question, but I have no good answer. Unfortunately there are too many people in this world who either just don't care about self improvement, don't want to 'pull together' in the first place, or are just too rabidly satisfied with being blissfully ignorant. Only a sea change in the basic human thought process can end this.

Unfortunately there is no way to end ignorance. In the entire existence of the human race there has always been people who have lacked common sense and fall far short of intelligent. The fact is that no matter how much you try to abolish it there will never be a resolution. For man kind does have flaws in many different area's, but the thing that all man kind has in common the need to live. So whether or not we ever become smarter beings is a question that no one knows. The best advice I can give you to deal with it is to feel sorry for those who lack the qualities you seek.

In order to abolish ignorants a few things must occur.
First, people need to realize that they are not God(If God exists) and not worry about what other people do and what they believe. Day in and day out, people cross your path whether it is on the phone, walking on the street as your drive by, in the car next to you, etc, what really affect do they have on you? Why do the people you refer to care what those very people do with their lives? It is my thought that people should feel confident that they can do what they please, as long as it is not physically or mentally damaging another being.
What other people do does not have any direct bearring on your life, why not let everyone be who they are and try to learn from each other, gain knowledge and try to build a better life for the people that will be here when we are all gone?

Many people use ignorant very lightly (especially people that think that there views are against there's), but many people think the comment i just made in the parantheses is ignornant. I do not believe no one person can be "ignornant". Every one will think differently and that is what drives the human nature i believe is the right to argue, to think to expand. If all of us just set aside our differences where would we be? Arguments, disagreements is what drives new devolpments in this world.

I'm unsure that I wish to rid the world of ignorance, maybe rid me of my own ignorance, but in the long run I think my profit would shrink considerably if ignorance was removed from all... as well I think life may just get boring and lonely if ignorance was taken from me!
However the best way that I have found to rid myself of ignorance is the mirror theory.....
If you are willing to see yourself as others do, you will then know where your flaws are! Not as you think others look at you , but the way that they actually see you and the way you think.

I love the idea you are trrying to portray. One very good example is the fact that people who are too caught up in their own ignorance can't get past the fact that you may have made a few spelling errors, they have obviously missed your good intentions.

Some people in this world enjoy being ignorant. I think it's great that you want to put a stop to it, however they first have to understand the difference between hardcore facts and nonsense. They have to want to seek the truth.

I don't believe we can. We can't force the other side to stop being ignorant. All we can do is just live our own lives and ignore the waves of hatred emanating from them. They're the ones who are wrong, and it gives me solace to know that.

You know, I used to care about ignorance, too. And also apathy. But as I've gotten older, I am no longer sure I know what it is, and I don't care.
