I've only ever done 56 hours, but then the gear IS better in the West Country.
Must be all those Hairy Bikers you get.
I love your honesty, I looked so bad, crack 'Ho's pitied me.

I had worked midnights and then caught a plane for Orlando from Chicago. I stayed awake the entire day until THAT evening. I was also 7 months pregnant. I realize it does not equal your seventy hours, but it was like 36 hours PLUs being pregnant.

It was 66 hours for me.
8am July 3rd 1976 until 2am July 6th 1976.
We were having too much fun partying and celebrating the 200th birthday of the USA to feel bad.
I did sleep for about 12 hours straight after that and went back to bed about 6 hours later for another 8 hours sleep.
After all that sleep, I felt just fine.
Of course I was just a teenager back then.

Possibly 36 hours. Flight from Los Angeles to Glasgow via London plus delays at airports. Accident on plane when my seat upholserty had to be replaced and my trousers were soaking wet...previous passenger had left carton of juice open on seat! Very stressed out, all eyes on me and needed home comforts.

I was working as a security guard and I was told my releif wasn't going to show up.And I ended being awake for more than 32 hours until someone showed up. My blood pressure was up and I could barely drive, but I made it home. I fell asleep in my sweaty uniform.

74 hours. It was while working at Intel on a system. I felt like crap because I was surviving on donuts and coffee. I couldn't sleep well for a week because of headaches. Intern doctors do this type of thing regularly (stupid - not necessary part of the job)

had 15 hours sleep in 9 days - had hallucinations, irrational behaviour. But came out of it fitter than ever before, dropped a load of weight etc etc. It was an army course though.
