A wise man once said, "You only hate in others what you hate in yourself". I think when people make harsh judgments on others, it is really something within themselves, a desire they are suppressing, actions they have committed themselves but really disrespect, or whatever that then makes them project that inner hatred onto others in their external environment. This can be see in closet gays being some of the worst homophobes. They hate gay people because they hate that they are gay and wish they could change. Maybe some people hate fat people because they work hard to quell their desire to overeat, a desire which they hate and wish they could be free of, so they project that hate or judgment onto people who give into that desire.

Maybe Christians see others committing "sins" which they secretly desire, or just actively avoid. This effort they make to avoid sinning might cause them some inner frustration, which then just manifests as outward aggression or judgment of others.

It just requires some introspection to become at peace with those things which ail you, and to realize that they are internal, and you should forgive yourself as opposed to lashing out against others.

I take people as I find them, I am not religious and have never thought of which religion a person might be.I trust people, and take them at face value - until they prove me to be a bad judge, and then I always promise to be more guarded next time, but I dont, thats just me

Because christians are the BIGGEST hypocrites going! Everybody knows that (except THEM)! Christians are REPRESSED and they see other people living out what they might desire but don't have the b@lls to do!

It's just the way people are, not just Christrians! I'm sure you're guilty of doing that yourself. In fact, by asking this question, you're already guilty of what you're accusing them of judging others, Think about it!

They do this because they think they are better than those they are judging .....simple as that. By telling them not to do something, they think they are saving humanity, what a load of crap. If you dont wanna be judged, dont judge others.....

It is the old saying "Do as I say and not as I do." Unfortunately people neglect to realize that actions speak louder than words.

Because they're hypocrites. It takes attention away from their own problems and makes them feel better to belittle someone.
