Rangers, because the Brewers didn't need Cordero because they have Turnbow and the outfielders were unnecessary because they should have kept Carlos Lee who are better then Mench and Nix!

I think that both were winners in this deal. The Brewers knew that Lee wouldn't be around with the money he's about to command in the near future, in which the Brewers don't have enough resources to sign Lee to an extenstion. Texas instantly becomes an offensive force, with Lee (along w/ Teixeira, Young, and Blalock being the heart of the order), but I doubt that Lee will stay after this season.
Mench and Cordero are reliable source for the Brewers. Turnbow was demoted as the closer and gave the job to Kolb, who couldn't hang on to that job while he was in Atlanta, so Cordero (who lost his job earlier in the season) becomes a nice candidate for the role. Mench is a streaky hitter, but he's finally hitting in the heart of the lineup, something he can never get while he was in Texas. Plus, they own Mench and his 2.8 million until 2007.

Texas did. Carlos Lee is far and away the best player in that deal. Still, I don't know why the Rangers keep adding more and more hitters. They are already a good offensive team. Despite the acquisition of Lee, they still aren't going to make the playoffs because their pitching staff isn't as good as Anaheim's or Oakland's.

Its extremely user-friendly the Cardinals gained 4 video games and the Rangers in simple terms one 3. The Cardinals underdogs all indoors the path of the playoffs in simple terms does now not grant up. It had now not something to do with it being LaRussa's very final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. That wasn't presented till finally 2 days after the sequence. on the time the sequence ended St. Louis replaced into although hoping to have the aptitude to resign Pujols. The Cardinals have been in simple terms greater advantageous desperate. and does now not grant up. communities decrease than no situations enable yet yet another team win extremely indoors the international sequence. That international sequence ring is what they play for all 3 hundred and sixty 5 days

Right now I would say rangers, they basically traded 6th batter, along with a struggling reliever and an ok minor-leaguer for an instant clean-up hitter. Now overall it would depend on whether Carlos lee would resign and whether Cordero would return to his all-star closer form.
