virtues, such are her cute face, sweet disposition, generous and caring nature, clever and creative attitude, strong self esteem, etc.
These are the things that make a girl special.
I don't understand the "reputation" comment. I don't ask for referrals or care about gossip. I can make my own opinion about her.

A thing that makes a girl special is her intelligence. The next thing is how she acts around you and other people. Example: Character, attitude, and her special attention to detail. Beauty is only skin deep and that isn't even on the list of being special. Her kindness and willingness to help others without questioning. Just being a good person is special in itself. Virtue - yes your goodness and excellence is important. Reputation- It can have effect on friendships if you've been a bad person in some way, but if you've done good then it will blossom. So you see virtue and reputation go together in harmony.

Virtue can describe any in a wide array of characteristics about a person, so yes. Reputation in terms of social position, I would think would be no for most men. If a girl has a bad reputation as skanky or a b*tch, etc, etc then of course you're probably not going to want to be around them. It really depends if the reputation is deserved or not.
Love cannot be explained rationally, we cannot pick who we love. If we could, things wouldn't be very interesting. To us men, women will always be a mystery and vice versa. There is a river deeper and wider than the ocean that divides men and women.

..it varys by the guy i would say but for me personally a "special girl" would be one that isnt gay or on drugs or otherwise mental that is holding out for the right guy and can still enjoy her life and is an achiever... i just hope im the right guy when i find her because then i would feel special and not just another one of the many in the herd ...yeah i guess for me its all about virtue or how you come across ... having a past doesnt bother me coz who doesnt, but i guess its first impression and what a guy sees and hears after meeting a girl ... yes reputation can affect it to ...you had it pegged .. at least in my case ... :)

Reputation usually has more to do with rumors, virtue or what she holds as virtuous has more to do with character...Neither has much to do with what makes a woman special..... What makes a woman special is how she sees the world through her eyes, her intelligence, her whit, her ability to be a good friend.... There are lots of physical things that can make a woman "special", but I am not going there in this forum.....

Somethin' Special!!!!!! To me her reputation would be the last thing I would honestly want to know. I need her to teach me about her life from her own lips, then instead of an unknown ear. As for the looks, It doesn't matter. Looks are real mysterious. That they could really trick you. And like they say " Beauty killed the Beast"
The thing that makes the girl special. Is by being herself.

Well it's different for everyone, for me it's great personality, intelligence and sense of humor. Being attractive is good to, but I want to be with someone that I can hang out and do things with other than just for sex. I don't see much of a point if the relationship was only based on that one thing.

Attractive (to me) ... fit (I like active outdoor activities) ... and as fun to be around as a best friend. I don't quite follow what you mean by virtue and reputation.

When she is understanding, and knows men are always horny, and willing to explore new things, is affectionate, has a great sense of humor, like to have fun, has tons of character, charisma, personality, loyal, open minded not closed, and does not mind going out with the guys. there are many things, but not all guys are the same.
