totally.

take the battery out, set it somewhere very warm and dry or use a hair dryer. Don't plug the battery back in for like 3 days.

It will work fine.

Like sirgrumpy1 and Phone_capone said, remove the battery and SIM card.

I recommend that you PRE HEAT the oven for the lowest temperature. That's about 5 minutes. Then TURN IT OFF and open the door. Place the CELL phone on a cookie sheet or even a ceramic plate (that won't melt). Put this in the oven with the door open about 5 inches.

Let it get good and warm for about 10 minutes, then remove it and let it cool completely in the room. When just warm to the touch, put the SIM CARD and battery back in and turn it on.

If the LCD screen is still fogged up, you might want to resume the warming cycle, so it gets dryer inside.

But your Cell phone might be just fine after this treatment.

NOW IF YOU DROPPED IT IN THE OCEAN IN SALT WATER, all bets are off.

of course. I've dropped my phone into a mug full of beer (don't ask how). Just give it time to dry and eventually it should be fine. Don't put it in the dryer or oven or anything like that. It should be fine. I had an LG and it lasted for one more year after that.

If it was in water for longer than 30 seconds or so than I'm sure there is no hope for you.

Take the battery off, let it dry out good (24 hours or more), then re-attach the battery and try it. Chances are, if it's dried out, it will work again; most phones can take it as long as you shut it off and get the battery off ASAP.

Take the battery off and let it dry out....this may do the trick. Let it dry out for a day or two.

Probably not--did you drop it in the toilet? I did that with a cordless phone, and it was okay after about 3 days, when it dried out.

Before drying it out, submerge it in achohol. The achohol will displace all the water and then completely evaporate.

I do not know. I washed mine in the washer (didn't know it) until I put the clothes in the dryer. It is a lost cause.
