I depends on what STD you have. If it is cureable then no it will not hurt the baby IF you tell your doctor and get rid of it. But others can be harmful to your baby, they can be transfered through labor! So tell your doctor! Go to www.ask.com and search STD'S WHILE PREGNANT and it will tell you more then I can!

Std's depending on which type it is can be spread to your baby.
Your doctor, if you are pregnant will closely monitor both you and your child to try and prevent your baby from getting it.
You may end up having to have a c section to prevent passing it on also.

Depends on which STD you have. Some can carry on to the baby, I've heard. I may be wrong, I've never been around any STDS.

I guess it really all depends on what STD you have, but when i went in on my first appointment to the doctors they told me they could now give you a pill where if you had HIV they could give you this pill before labor and you can still have a vaginal delievery. But I would ask my doctor just to make sure. Dont be afraid to share anything with you doctor.
Good Luck

depending on what type of std you have. Your baby could be born blind, deaf, or mentally retarded. You need to talk to your doctor and go over all risks You could even schedule a c-section to cut down on risks to the baby.

It depends upon the STD....you need to identify the disease and talk to your OB doctor...certain diseases can pass to the baby during birth.
