Law inforcement powerless. How do I know its not using infared and zooming in on my daughters window. I don't drink use drugs or anything illegal but how would you feel if someones recording you every time you bend over or scratch you butt.(sorry but we all do it). theres no way to block it, and cops say they could bust him if they find proof he using it in nasty ways but by then the damages is done. Plus stop and thik how you would feel with someone watching YOU 24/7.

paranoid i am you see news about people recording women and children and putting it on the net all the time. problem is kids like to play in the yard. The comment about getting robbed and getting the tape would be fine but this is not a nice person.

there is a difference between privacy and being harassed. there is a difference between security and looking for ways to do harm.

You are right. You shouldn't have to put your house in lockdown just for a sense of privacy and security. Everyone has the right to privacy in their own home. You need to make the argument that this person IS harming you by invading your privacy. If the local police won't do anything, try the state police, or FBI, or get yourself a lawyer and take civil action. Also, make sure you check the sex offender registry.

Well, if it was someone illegitimate like a neighbor, use cameras on him in return. In fact, go over to his house on your own invitation with a hidden camera in your shirt pocket, for instance, and record everything you see. Then maybe send the tape anonymously to his mailbox. He might get the message. Or hire some hooligans to do a prank at night when everyone's asleep and make sure they get recorded so he starts getting paranoid. That will drive him to insanity. If all else fails, screw with his cameras so they stop working or at least aren't pointed at you. I mean, you should do as much as possible to protect your daughter and the rest of your family from shameless eyes.

I asked this question over 5 years ago and all answers although appreciated have been of no help. Most answers given to me were already tried before I posed the question. Some posted links that went nowhere. I did get a no stalking order against them eventually. No answer as of yet that doesn't involve doing something illegal to get it done. This is world we live in where the criminals are protected and the honest are convicted for doing what the law should have taken care of.

people do watch you everytime you go out in public.... don't bend over or scratch your butt, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, and if you're in your home with curtains closed, how could anyone see you, i don't think infrared can see through curtains, if you think so, just get thicker curtains, no offense but that question sounds a little like paranoia, unless you walk around everywhere nude, i don't think you're having a problem with this.

There is nothing you can do. I guarantee when someone breaks into your house or vandalizes your car you will run straight to him and beg for the video tape, and then he will be your hero.

if you are outside your house you have no expectation to "privacy"
