created by people who let you have a little more freedom than others and calls it freedom of speach. When actually if you say something the goverment or authority dont like they just shut you down.

I know 2 web sites that are now shut down, will this be the next? There is a balance between what people can say and the law. Yahoo is a big company and may shut this site for legal reasons. Lets use it while we can but for how I do not know? Freedom of speech lasts as long as the lawyers stay quite and share holders remain calm.

The authority's of this world want us to believe Freedom of Speech is an illusion, unfortunately for them it wins every time, if not in the places or things it is supposed to, then through media attention, as long as we all stand up and let ourselves be counted then we will have our freedom of speech, lets never lose sight of it.

To a degree it is an illusion. But I don't think we have seen anything yet. We have to watch what we say so that we don't offend anyone now and that will get worse too.

Sometimes it does feel like that, just so governments can catch out the non-conformist. They come up with this concept so they can hammer down the nail that sticks out.

there is freedom of speech, "political speech". all other speech is under assault by collages and media. under the "no one is to be offended mantra". so shut up!
