Nope, I'd like too but realistically there is no proof either way.
And much like saying unicorns don't exist even though there is no proof either way, I will continue to think God also doesn't exist.
Especially in the christian sense, that is just ridiculousness.
As for the question why are we here. The simple basic answer for why you are here is to reproduce and live. But as for the abstract answer there most likely isn't one, instead of pondering that, ponder some things you can actually answer. For instance how can I improve the quality of my life.

Yes I believe in God, we are here because he put us here. He was kind enough to allow us to do what we want while we are here. Hope we make the right choices. It's kinda like taking a test and not knowing what the test is exactly.

Depends on the day. I was raised very religiously in a Brethern chapel and spent many years trying to get my mind back. My dilema on this question is still.......what kind of a God would create this crazy notion of a huge video game called earth that he controls. I just don't get that.
Some days it is just easier to believe that we are just a giant cosmic accident.

yeah, i believe in god. and why we are here. i believe we are here to determine what we do once we arent here. so, everyone was orignally not here, and god has placed us here to determine whether we should go to heaven or hell.
