The South has been raised again. i was thinking about it today down at the patent office.

I went to the Patent Office to register some of my inventions.

I went to the main desk to sign in and the lady at the desk had a form that had to be filled out. She wrote down my personal info and then asked me what I had invented.

I said, "A folding bottle."

She said, "Okay, what do you call it?"

I said "A Fottle."

"What else do you have?"she asked me.

I said "A folding carton."

"And what do you call it?"

I said "A Farton."

She snickered and said, "Those are silly names for products! And one of them sounds kind of crude."

I was so upset by her comment that I grabbed the form and left the office without even telling her about my folding bucket.

Stay tired cuz it can never happen. the USA is way to intermarried and connected for the south to ever rise again. Those political feelings and inclination don't exist today. Those who say so are total fools and don't even have a real claim on the old south anyways. Trace the roots of the vast majority of southerners and they will be from the north and the immigration of post civil war USA. Get a real issue.

The economic strength of the South is rather good, I think it is rising just nicely thank you. Where do the car manufactures move too? How many companies have relocated in the south. Where are the Mercedes and BMW plants? Look around you.

The south never fell and tell Jack P he's just too ignorant to understand.

Ya see, down here in the south, we do things a lil different. Like hunting for example. We don't Go out in our L.L. Bean gitups and stalk the prey all day long, walking around and stomping through the trees and bushes. We throw on ou army surplus clothes, get a stand, drag up our coolers with cold Bud Light and sit and wait for the deer to walk right out in front of us and then ...BANG! We climb down, back the pickem up truck right up to him and toss him in. Done day.

See, ole Jack P calls us procrastinators but really, we're just patient. Like all those northerners that started migrating south years back and they just keep coming. Now, you don't see a whole bunch of southerners moving to CT, MA, NJ or OH do you ? Why hell no you don't. Know why that is? Sure ya do and so do all those yankees who just keep coming down south and spending their life savings. Cause they aint got slaves no more and they're still too lazy to do for themselves so we just let em come on down and we act like slaves to em. Only difference between us and the ones they wanted to free is, we charge for our services ... A LOT.

i don't think they mean that literally, i think they mean they agree with principles set forth by south, i do too. states rights being the main one. dont start on this slavery thing either, that's old, all of america had slaves not just the south, and that wasn't why civil war was fought either.

It's just a bunch of dumb hillbilly's with their idea of heaven. I was born and raised in the south but there are those of us who have shed the sins of our forefathers and chose to leave it there in the past.

Funny you should ask? I'm still mad that Lee didn't listen to Longstreet and go around the Union left flank at Gettysburg and attack from the rear....
